VigiFlap Explosion Isolation Valve

Information

Explosion isolation valves should be installed on the inlet, outlExplosion Isolation valve Case Study MCLB vigiflapet, and hopper discharge of protected vessels, as well as on interconnecting ductwork, to help stop a deflagration from propagating through the system. These valves are available for a range of dust types and installation orientations. Diversion valves are also available in multiple configurations. Our engineers can help determine the right valve arrangement for your facility and application. The VigiFlap Explosion Isolation Valve is designed to stop the spread of overpressure and flame fronts caused by an explosion downstream in equipment such as dust collectors, cyclones, and filters. The VigiFlap features a locking mechanism, domed flap, ANSI flanges, inspection/access door, grounding straps, and the ability to operate either normally open or as a check valve. It is ATEX EN 16447 certified and comes standard with an inductive proximity shutdown sensor. If you have any questions about the VigiFlap explosion isolation valve, contact us.
