Los sensores est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados para ahorrar bater\u00eda y volver a unirse a la red despu\u00e9s de interrupciones, con transmisiones normalmente menores a un segundo debido al tama\u00f1o peque\u00f1o de la carga de datos.<\/p><p>La plataforma utiliza m\u00faltiples puertos de entrada y selecciona el mejor para cada transmisi\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n se monitorea la concentraci\u00f3n de masa de part\u00edculas por metro c\u00fabico, utilizando l\u00e1seres dispersos desde sensores compactos y port\u00e1tiles que pueden colocarse en distintos puntos.<\/p><p data-start=\"1958\" data-end=\"2169\">El ruido se mide como niveles de sonido basados en presi\u00f3n de aire (decibeles) para fines regulatorios y de exposici\u00f3n de los trabajadores, y los rangos de ultrasonido (0\u201380 kHz) pueden utilizarse para monitorear equipos como transportadores y motores con fines de mantenimiento predictivo.
